Dawayne Stamper
Associate Minister of Worship

Dawayne has served in the Worship Ministry at First Lavaca since July 1999. He studied Piano Performance at U of A Fort Smith, and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Arkansas State University in 2000. As a member of the FBL staff, Dawayne oversees the Children’s Worship Arts ministries, arranges and produces audio tracks and sheet music, plans worship services, and provides piano accompaniment for all worship services and rehearsals. Dawayne has released two piano solo albums: “Foundation,” and “Piano Configurations for Worship.” Both albums feature Dawayne’s arrangements and performances, and have sold copies internationally via iTunes.

Dawayne married his wife Erin in August 2006. In May 2011, they adopted their two children, Nathan and Alicia. In his spare time, Dawayne enjoys playing piano for the Greenwood Junior High and High School choirs, presenting concerts with gospel artist Daniel Crews, and spending time with his family.
